Ron was born in Augusta and raised across the river in North Augusta.  He met his lovely wife Celia in the 11th grade in High School shortly after placing his faith in Jesus through a basketball outreach.  They both attended Clemson University which is where they got involved with Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU).  Upon graduating with degrees in civil engineering (Ron) and elementary education (Celia), they decided to join staff with Campus Crusade in order to reach college students for Christ.  They were placed in Winston-Salem, N.C.  Ron served for the past 11 years on staff and later as the Director of Campus Crusade at Wake Forest Unversity in Winston-Salem, N.C.  He is currently pursuing a master of divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  They sensed the Lord leading them to Augusta to serve the city and the colleges through both The Hill Baptist Church and CRU.  Ron and Celia along with their three children (Ron, Emma & Lily) moved to Augusta in August of 2011.
