Our Beliefs
What We Believe
At The Hill Baptist Church, everything we believe is rooted in the truth of God’s Word. The Bible is our final authority for faith and practice, and our desire is to honor Jesus Christ in everything we do.
On the Bible
The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible, and God-breathed and, therefore, are the final authority for faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament are the complete and divine revelation of God to Man.

On God
There is only one living and true God. He is all-powerful and is the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe.

On Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind, and shed His blood to atone for our sins. He rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory.

On Salvation
We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins. We believe that all sins, except blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, are forgivable.
